We are sure we’d all agree that we’re the privileged custodians of many thousands of deciduous trees in the UK countryside, the backbone of our nation’s biodiversity and the clean air that we breathe. And it’s at this time of year, of course, that we start thinking about clearing the leaves that fall so that they don’t create a slip hazard, block our drains or smother our lawns and shrub borders.
After the awesome Summer this year, we’re being advised that leaf fall could well be early with mountains of leaves coming in a few short weeks.
